Self-hosted Infrastructure
2023
Our DevOps team left.
Vinsta
DIY VM management tool
It Got Tiring
Servers. Updates. Endless work.
We Tried Cloud
Digital Ocean. Sabay Cloud Tekh.
They handle everything.
The Problem
Too expensive.
Not enough revenue.
Losing money.
We Had a Choice
Keep paying for cloud.
Or use what we already have.
What We Had
Desktop. Mini PCs. Raspberry Pi.
Sitting in office.
Fast internet.
3 Months Later
Built our own platform.
Docker Swarm. Nginx. Monitoring. CI/CD.
All abstracted away.
The Goal
Simple enough for anyone.
No Docker. No servers.
