We bring young people into the work.

smallworld has a small core team. New apprentices work beside that team on whatever the companies need: product, operations, sales and the daily problems that come with running a business.

As someone becomes more capable, they take responsibility for more of the company. There is no fixed timetable. It depends on the person and the work.

The goal is for each young team member to eventually represent and run at least one company. They own part of it, and smallworld owns part of it.
